AAAAAHHHHHH So, Amber launched her full size bath bars and I was soooo excited. I tried soo many times to place my order at work. Then at home. When I tell you I was frantic that I was not going to get the bath bars, I was in near tears. I kept getting an error. I was ordering not just for me but a few to give to some close people for an upcoming event. I reached out to Amber so desperate. She was so GREAT!!!!!! She helped me get my order placed and I received what I needed. FABULOUS!!!!!! That is all I can really say. For me I ordered one of each, Cashmere Kisses, the Lavender and the Matcha one. Since I already know that the Cashmere Kisses is super wonderful, I started using the Lavander. I love lavender. The soap does not disappoint in the lather, the way it makes my skin feel. I only have one complaint; I need more lavender scent. It is there and some people may disagree with me on this, I do feel it might be a personal preference, but I wish it was just a bit more scent. But overall, her soaps are WONDERFUL.
I am that person who has to use up what I'm using before I start another product so it might be a bit before I get the Matcha. I will say that when I finished the smaller bar, it was just magical the way the small piece just lathered away into soap heaven. I don't think I've ever had a bar soap just melt away like it did. I also want to take a moment and mention that if you purchase the body butter and you have something happen at your house like, losing AC, PUT IT IN THE FRIDGE!!!!! I lost my AC for about 3 days and didn't think about the body butter. I went to use it and was so sad. I googled and stirred it up and put in the fridge for a day. It's usable, a bit grainy but I found that the internet said it might be like that. I do still stir prior to using. I'm not throwing it out and please know this is not a reflection of the product quality it is just an unfortunate incident that happened to me, and I am hoping to help others not be sad. I still use it and get the same results as before.
And just one last thing as a person who is not full one girly but does like to pamper herself when she can afford it. Let's talk about the scrubs. So, I am that person that can go to Walmart and buy a scrub and think I've really done something (SUPER HINT AMBER: Coconut Lime is like my favorite scent!) Anyway, one day after purchasing the set and re-reading some info on her website I decided to test something out. So apparently, I've used scrubs a bit wrong. I didn't realize you should "rub" them into the skin. I did that with the whipped scrub. then after each shower I would check out how my skin felt. It was really soft and hydrated and just really nice. Then I did the same with the Walmart version. Yeah, not the same. It was like mmmmm, yeah okay maybe but if you want the real deal, the real softness, smoothness then you need to get Ambers scrubs. I'm a cheap person. I have bought homemade scrubs before, and I think that Amber's has been the best as far as quality and the results that you get. If you're on the fence get one of those travel packs and try them all out. It is a great price point, and you won't be disappointed.
